Description

This position oversees the development and implementation of the Physician and Hospital programs (PHO), Quality Management (QM) and related health programs approved by the PHO. This position serves as a liason between contracted Health Plans and the PHO Board regarding contract issues and advises the Board of Directors as to the current status of programs and any needed for policy changes. This position represents the Board to payors regarding contracting issues. The psoition oversees the PHO staff in their roles, credentialing the PHO providers, negotiating contracts, and compliance with the messenger model for Contract Review.

 

Starting Salaring Range:  $40-$45/ Hour or $42,000/year (part- time 20 hrs)

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree; Masters degree preferred
• Demonstrated experience in Health Plan management, utilization review, quality assurance, managed care, and continuous quality improvement preferred.
• Ability to assist in planning and implementing programs.
• Ability to work well with staff, PHO Board Members, and payors
