Description

Performs phlebotomy on inpatients including veni-puncture, capillary puncture, and specimen processing. Manage specimen accessioning accurately and efficiently to provide quality specimen for laboratory testing. Responsible for clerical task so as to accommodate timely and accurate laboratory testing and support department operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of Phlebotomy School or prior Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• CPR required.
• Good Customer Service skills required|
• Communication and Organizational skills required.
• Computer proficiency and technical aptitude required.
• Knowledge of Meditech preferred.
