Laboratory

The Laboratory Department offers a diverse array of services to both outpatients and inpatients. The outpatient blood draw area is only a few steps from the Lab lobby and privacy cubicles assure patients confidentiality. Holy Cross Hospital went through a major expansion in 2004-2005 costing $14.5 million. One part of the major construction project was to expand the Laboratory Department including:
  • The new blood bank room is twice the size of the original area which now offers additional refrigerators to store larger quantities of blood products.
  • A new entrance and patient waiting area
  • Private areas for blood draw for Lab patients
  • A new conference room
United Blood Services
