Medical/Surgical Services
Currently, we have 31 Med/Surg beds. We utilize up-to-date equipment, such as state-of-the-art beds, electronic scales, computers at the bedside and a Pyxis System (automated system to dispense medication and supplies accurately and efficiently).
We recently implemented Bedside Medication Verification. Bedside Medication Verification (BMV) allows caregivers to utilize bar code scanning technology prior to administering medications, confirming patient identity and medication information. The use of the bar code scanning increases accuracy and efficiency of caregivers.
We provide caring and compassionate nursing care for all ages, from babies to geriatrics with well-trained nursing staff. We pride ourselves with the number of experienced nurses with their varied backgrounds. Our professional team includes physicians, nurses, nurse’s aides, respiratory and physical therapy, pharmacy, dietary and case management who support our commitment to quality care of serving "one patient at a time".
