They generally do not have private practices, so they concentrate their practice in taking care of patients who are hospitalized. The Hospitalists communicate with each other so that each Hospitalist will know about your illness and plan of care. The Hospitalist also communicates with your primary physician about your Hospital stay, so that your primary physician will know why you were in the Hospital and what occurred during your stay. |
